Veteran comedian, and the only PadmaSree awardee-comedian since Relangi, Sree Allu Ramalingaiah (81) passed away around the midnight on Friday (early hours of Saturday) in Global Hospital. According to the sources, Allu Ramalingayya sustained an injury a few weeks ago, when he fell down in the bathroom. He was getting treatment in the Apollo hospital. He was joined in Global hosiptal later on. Allu Ramalingayya is the father of renowned producer Allu Aravind and is the father-in-law of Chiranjeevi. His death is a great loss to the Telugu Film Industry. May his soul rest in peace.
